    Hey,

I just wanted some advice. My lab retriever turned 15 in March. He has never had any health problems expect from a skin condition that causes no pain or issues. He is still eats well, very hyper, active and walks everyday roughly 1.5 to 2 hours. I am wondering if I should continue to walk him that length of time or should I slow it down. Even though he shows no sign of health problems, I sometimes worry if I am walking him too much. However if I don't he barks wanting to go haha.

Is walking a 15 year old pup 2 hours a day okay for his health?

    Thank you

Hi Max and owner, welcome to the forum!

Congratulations on having such a fit and healthy old boy - he's clearly been well looked after :)

The best person to advise you about how much exercise is safe is Max's veterinarian. They will take into account his physical condition, medical history, etc (things it's impossible for us to judge for you here!)

I hope you're still enjoying walks for a long time to come :)
