Hi - I'm new to this forum and have a 12 week old black Lab puppy - Myrtle She had her first vaccination at 6 weeks old whilst still with her breeder and was due her 2nd at 10 weeks but couldn't have it as she developed a UTI and was given antibiotics. The vet insisted that the course of injections must be restarted and she had her 'first' jab 5 days ago. Does anyone know if she is safe to go for a short walk now, seeing as she has already had 2 doses, with the next one due in just over a week?
I would ring and ask your vet. They know best about what level of cover you have and the risks of disease in your locality.
