Out walking with Lady yesterday and in the middle of a very large field she suddenly sat and focussed on something in the distance. She sits and stares when she spots something that she thinks is interesting. I looked and all I could see were a few seagulls. Thought it can't be them then way off in the distance and almost invisible I spot a Heron. I think dogs must have a very good ability to pick out motion because that's the only way she could possibly have seen this bird because it blended almost perfectly into the background.
Re: Keen Eyes Well spotted Lady. Yes, it must have been moving because I sometimes think dogs actually have poor eyesight for things that are stationary.
Re: Keen Eyes Oh Dex does too Kate....and he bristles with pent up energy pointing the cat I've missed!
Re: Keen Eyes Just like Sam does Angela , stands there pointing like a statue but trembling with excitement, bless x
