Hello! I hope you and your dogs are all safe and well in these trying times! My 10 month labrador has started hacking like he is choking/trying to spit something out every time he gets very excited after a game of tug for the past two months. Everything else is normal but it's just when he gets worked out. Due to lockdown and other reasons we are not able to go to the vet so I was wondering if there are any home remedies for this problem? If he's been coughing for 2 months, I think it is beyond any home remedies. Did you mention it to the vets when you had him castrated recently?
It’s a long time to have an unusual cough. You can chat to a vet even if you can’t get in, they are best to advise. My vets (U.K.) are pretty much back to normal service.
