Hi all, looking for advice on our year old chocolate lab. He is on Arden Grange Puppy/junior as recommended by a family member. Unfortunately on this he has really bad wind!! And when i say bad i mean terrible it absolutely stinks and he is doing it about every 5 mins. We are wondering if we should change him to a wet food with mixer or try a different dry food. All advice will be gratefully recieved as i may have to buy shares in ambi pur! Many thanks
Although it's not for everyone, i would recommend a balanced raw diet. We had a stinking spaniel with a very delicate tummy and this sorted him out within days. All my dogs (10) are now raw fed and I would never feed kibble again.
A cork. Sorry had to say that. Kibble does tend to lead to smelly farts. A small amount of food grade charcoal in the meals or as treats has helped us with older dogs. Chris
Somebody had to say it and ive thought about it lol. Thank you for the advice will definitely try that, (the charcoal not the cork).
