My 4 month Labrador has me sneezing and blowing snot over me for the last couple days. Of course my 1st thought is “the dreaded foxtail”. $400 later, I am told by the vet, no foxtail and everything looks normal. Her lymph nodes in her cheeks are swollen and she is “really” teething. As if I hadn’t noticed the teething... Anyway, what I am told is that like human toddlers, they can get runny noses when teething, which is why she is blowing snot all over me and sneezing. Who knew????
I have never heard that and if the snot is green/yellow I would get a second opinion as that indicates an infection. My puppy had a snotty nose around that age and was prescribed antibiotics which cleared it up quickly.
Taking care of a 3 year old lab is not that difficult ,but make sure to do the things given below. Meals twice a day. Plenty of clean water. Giving bath every 15 days in summer and once in a month in winters. Combing every day. Going out for walk twice a day. Showing immense amount of love. Doing the given above is enough for your dog and will keep him fit and fine in long run. Happy taking care!!!!!!
