Jake is 10yrs 5months old lab x collie more lab than collie , he has been a scratcher on and off more on than off though, tried different foods but not any change ,sometimes worse than others, I have had him on piriton one and half a day, but read on media that I could give him at least four a day but should ask vet first, the vet told me that one s day might be OK but it may not help after time so I had to take him to vets this time as it was was getting worse and he had skin infection. So he was given steroid and tablets for infection costing £88.37 ,meds are for 2 weeks ,we don't have insurance as it's too costly, I would like to know if 2 piriton twice a day is OK and how long he can stay on them, thankyou
