Chattering Drooling and smelly liquid from dog's mouth

It happens usually at mid night. What can be reason? It’s so smelly and whole night he keeps on smelling the liquid that comes from his mouth.
During day time he is perfectly fine. I am so worried.

 

Have you checked his anal glans?
I would pop him to the vet to get his mouth and glands checked.
