Can you please tell me how long this lasted in your pup. My Daisy had her first dose at 12 hours ago and is still running around crying.
Drontal Plus caused a terrible reaction in our puppy. She was restless, aggressive and had accidents all over the house. Nothing could calm her. She is being treated for roundworms and hookworms and this is her 2nd Drontal pill in 3 weeks and hopefully the last. She was a totally different puppy. It took 18 hours for her to crash. Vet said she’d never heard of this type of side effect.
I don't have a Labrador but my small breed Shitzu Chihuahua mix goes a bit bonkers on Quad deformed. (Praxiquantel /pyrantel/pamoate//febantel).. My gosh he was running around like a mad dog for 6 hours...I was ready to give him back..lol ..not really
The combination of the reduced reaction and vets advice meant that we persevered with Drontal and when I wormed her the other day and there was no reaction to it at all.
