I was amused (because there but the grace of God go I) to read in my newspaper the following tail: "After a day's walking I entered a cafe and, sitting at an empty table, spotted a full English breakfast only half eaten. Thinking of my hungry dog tied up outside, I scraped the food into an empty picnic box. Imagine my horror when a man emerged from the Gents and came to my table to finish his meal."

I bet that the dog owner had a moment's pause before acquiring those 'leftovers' and felt guilt afterwards... bet his/her dog didn't!

I just went to put the hoover away, and came back to reunite myself with my mug of tea, thinking that it would be about the right temperature to drink by now. Well, it obviously was the right temperature, because someone had already drunk half of it. Thanks, Brew! I was kind of impressed at how little she spilled...

I was going to say that at least I now know how she likes her tea - white, no sugar... but really, she just knows how I like mine! Fortunately, Lisa, it was not the first mug of the day. That really would have tested our relationship! ;)
