Hello everyone! I really could use some help because I am about out of options and feel like I have tried so much to resolve this problem when nothing has seems to help. I have a little over a year old chocolate lab and his name is Gunner. He gets into these times of playing when he resorts to biting my husband and I very hard. Sometimes it has left me in tears. Nothing we try seems to get him to stop except for just leaving the room entirely. I read that resorting to treats when this happens is not good because then it just lets your dog know they will be rewarded for biting you. This biting is getting very difficult to deal with and manage. He also jumps and freaks out whenever we come home which doesn't bother me a whole lot but it does bother me that we can't get him to calm down. I am 4'10 and he can easily knock me over completely. Any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated. I am desperate.
