I'd like to introduce Angus our 10 week old Red lab to the forum. I've never used a forum before but think this will be really useful.

Hi Jules. Welcome. I'm sure you and Angus will find the forum very helpful. It's great to exchange ideas and get advice from others who've ''been there, done that''. Most of all it's just great to talk about our lovely Labs. I have a girl called Hillary who is three and a half and a bundle of chocolate joy.

    Hi
Angus is now 14 weeks. He's still very jumpy when meeting and greeting people. He gets very excited and doesn't respond well. Any ideas??

Hi Jules, don't despair he's still very much a baby puppy!!! What worked (and still does) with Hillary is to turn your back on her and refuse to interact until she calms down. That way her jumping is not ''rewarded'' with ''attention''.
