First night

    Where should our new 8 week old puppy sleep the first night we bring him home?

    It is up to you. Some have in their bedrooms, some not. Some in crates, some not. Depends as well if you want to use a crate ? Have a look at some old threads to see what others have done. I have always had pups in a crate downstairs, it has worked well for us.

    Hillary was a little older than average (10 weeks) when we brought her home. She has always slept in our bedroom. Because we were nearby, we never had a problem with her crying overnight and it really assisted toilet training as the minute she fidgeted I was awake and taking her outside. Just her own bed, no crate. Don't get me wrong, I am definitely not against crate training, just that it wasn't for us.
