It appears packer has an allergy to chicken,he was on Fromm originally but he was licking his paws and kept getting ear infections so I switched him to Hills Science Diet ,no more ear infections but licking his paw and I’ve noticed Hills is labeled that it contains chicken meal
The paw licking could be a fungal infection that you can get a foot wash for. Google Malassezia in dogs. If you end up doing them a Licki mat is very useful.
