My wife and I are looking for a younger (ish) adult lab. Maybe a retired dog etc. We know these do not become avail very often and we are not in a hurry.so we can wait for the right dog

I understand there are many puppies but at this stage in our life, kids are out of the house and my wife is retired. We know that a puppy is not right for us. 1st choose is a yellow Female English but open to all.

if you hear of anything, please let us know.

You are probably best approaching local rescues. Here in the UK there are sadly many dogs available that have been given up due to cost of living, or no longer wanted lockdown dogs. Also specific breed rescues will be able to help you. Good luck in your search.

You could also approach registered breeders. They occasionally have a female, retired from breeding, that they are looking to re-home.
