Hi and Happy New Year Is anyone using this harness system and can comment on it? My lab seems to have developed a dread for harnesses and runs away when we try to get it on him He’s sometimes picks up a leg and hops when walking on the lead but once off the lead he’s happy running and playing showing no signs of discomfort Thanks immensely for your time
Hi Donna We have used the Mekuti since Aubrey was about 4 months old, it works really well. She used to be skittish about getting her harness on, we put some peanut butter on an inside out wobble bowl everytime we did it and this did the trick. She reacts positively now when we get her harness on with no need for the peanut butter (she's 10 months now). As for the Mekuti itself, we have no complaints, it can be tricky to set up threading through the two rings but they send a comprehensive explanation with the set. They also have various lead sizes and harness sizes. We've found it really helpful. Hope this helps
