I have a 2 year old intact male English lab. Sometimes when he pees he goes in the grass and doesn’t lift his leg. Instead he squats a tiny bit a pees for what seems like soooooo long. I can time him next time but there is no way he can hold that much urine! He marks like normal all of the rest of the time and lifts leg etc. Is this normal??

    Yes! Same here.

on the grass in his garden he will lower himself, both hind legs down and flow. Outside he will mark. Sam will drink quite a lot so his urine is clear and he will pee for a long time, actually the time it takes to boil the kettle!

Yes quite normal. There is no need to mark in the garden so it all comes out in one go!
