I love my lab and I want to make sure she is getting the best nutrition. She is currently getting Acana wholesome grains topped w/ farmer's dog. There are too many foods on the market, would like to remain grain inclusive, but legume free. And fresh or dry food recs from experienced lab owners? I know they say dry food is "fast food" but the fresh options are overly expensive. Thank you
My now 4.5 year old girl has been fed Royal Canin kibble for Labradors since she was weaned. I top it with unsweetened, unflavoured natural greek yoghurt (about a tablespoon per day) and also give her an egg once a week and a can of sardines once a week. She has an amazing coat, is an ideal weight and is in perfect health. She had a blood test prior to a recent operation and her results were great - all organs functioning normally.
Our 2-1/2 year old lab starting having GI issues on Royal Canine Labrador food. After many tests and visits to the vet, we suspect chicken is the culprit. We keep gradually trying different food proteins but haven’t yet found the right one and a lot have chicken fat or chicken in it. Anyone experience this and found successful solutions?
