We have a 5-1/2 month lab that has developed a front leg limp. Of course the first thing that comes to mind is ED. I feel the limp has been going on for a month but seems to be alot worse the last couple of days. He likes to pickup sticks and play chase, which can get pretty intense but it doesn't seem to bother him when he is running. I have also been taking him for 3 walks a day, one being 15 minutes in the morning, 30 minutes at lunch and another 30 minutes at night. What are the chances he has developed elbow dysplasia? It also seems like his front paws point outward. My wife says its nothing.....

    Vet.

A dog will have all the hormones and endorphins flowing when they are running and chasing and doing high intense exercise. They won't notice pain until later and won't make the connection between pain & activity.

A limp is pain. Just like humans. Please take your pup to see a vet.

If it is ED there's loads you can do to stop progression and reduce pain and inflammation. If it's not you can stop worrying.
