Hey I have a 6 month old female labrador and we love her. But I'm worried she is going to turn on me. She likes to try and get under the sofa and chew it or chew the rug. When I tell her no and try to stop her she will curl her lips up wrinkle her nose and show me her teeth and growl. She will also try and bite me she doesn't bite hard but I'm scared she will one day. She looks like she is going to go for me. Should I be worried and what should I do?
Hi Lottie. I have a some questions please! How long has your pup been with your family, and what was her situation before she came to you? Is this a new problem, or something she's done all along? To reduce some of the conflict, can you use baby gates to just keep her away from the sofa and rug for now perhaps? And can you get her a dog safe chew toy with a similar texture to your rug?
