Hi! Has anyone used or know anything about STSK9 Training? I have considered using it for our new puppy (will be 8 weeks old when we get her in 2 weeks) and I am impressed by the videos and the obedience of the STSK9 videos. But I am a bit unsure about how believable it all is. It is clearly more for Malinois' as that is the owners specialty, and some of the online reviews are pretty harsh (no support, a bunch of videos that aren't useful, etc), but if training a lab using that process could work, I'd be very tempted to do it. I have had 2 other labs that are very well trained but not nearly that intense mainly because I was the only one that enforced the training and the rest of my family just let the dogs do what they wanted. Anyway, I'd really appreciate any feedback about that program before investing into something that may not be helpful. Thanks!
Hi there. It's not a program I've used myself - I've just had a look at their site and I'm a little concerned by the fact that one of their courses is called 'Positive Only' - that would make me suspect that there are aversives used in his other courses. Positive only is the modern, evidence-based way to train, so that's a bit of a red flag for me. But as I say - no personal experience with them myself!
