Hello again, what age did everyone’s girls go into heat? Anna is 8 months and still not heat. Curious if this is normal? Also, curious if she went into a silent heat.

    Thanks in advance!

Hi there. My own Lab came to us as an adult, so I can't answer this one from personal experience, I'm afraid! But the usual age for first heat is 9-12 months, so it sounds like your Anna just isn't quite ready yet :)

There are some more thoughts on the timing of first heat in this article of Pippa's, here: https://www.thelabradorsite.com/dog-in-heat/ :)

Casting my mind back, I think Hillary was just over 12 months.

Ours have been around 9 months, but could be later. It is not super obvious, but there should be a little blood spotting on the floor and enlarged vagina.
