I am on a mission to help a 7 year old Lab that is in pretty bad shape. He has lost a lot of hair on his face, ears, rear end and his tail is completely bald. He also has a large lump on each hind leg just below the tail. This is not my dog and he needs to see a vet and I’m not sure the finances are available so I’m just trying right now to see what I can do
Hi Gister, welcome to the forum. If you have reason to believe a dog is being abused or neglected, please report it to the appropriate animal welfare agency in your area. For example in the UK it's the RSPCA, and in the USA it might be the police, sheriff's office, local government animal control department, or a non-profit organization with powers to investigate potential animal mistreatment, depending on your area. The local government website for each state/county is a good place to work out which applies. If you live somewhere other than the UK or U.S., we can help you work out who to report your concerns to.
