Has anyone got a dog from any of these breeders, and would you recommend them? Or can you recommend any other reputable breeders of working type labs in Worcs/Glos/Heref.? We are hoping to get our first family puppy next year and would like a working type lab, mainly as a pet but to also go out running (although I don't go very far or fast!) and out to work with me. We will do gundog training too. We'd like a dog that has enough energy for long active walks and runs, but that is calm in the home and gentle with children. Any recommendations are appreciated, thank you!
Would recommend Silverace. Lovely family. Our working fox red from them does everything you describe. Health testing is top level and they aim to produce nice family pets who can switch between working and home life as and when as theirs do. We met all their dogs and they were so well behaved. We keep in touch now and with all his siblings and they are 4
