Just got back from one of the worst walks ever : : I walk a bridle path that leads to our village , its about a three mile walk and quite isolated, the dogs can be off lead until we get to the end of the bridle path and hit the lane . Almost at the end of the path, Millie on lead when, very out of character , Sam set off running ahead of me where there is an old stone lean to building at the end of the path . I heard shrieking noises , oh Sam , he had disturbed a very very amerous couple and, thinking it a great game, was prancing around them having a ball :-[ :-[ I think the worst thing about it was that I had to walk right past them to get Sam on lead , two very red and shocked faces :-[

Re: The shame of it ! ;D My Pointer has done the same in the past only on our local playing field.....I was at the opposite end at the time so tried to disown him!
Re: The shame of it ! Yup been there, felt that shame! Luckily they were still (mostly) clothed when Riley went to say hello and of course people who are lying down are doing so in order to play with any passing Labrador ;D
Re: The shame of it ! Oh dear. I'm glad it wsn't me but it was terribly funny. ;D Honey once went to say hello to a fellow dog walker crouching in the bushes for a quick pee. I was mortified, she found it hilarious thank goodness. did your courting couple manage to see the funny side at any point?
Re: The shame of it ! Had something similar (though your amorous couple must have been very amorous in this weather!), we were walking along a path on the common ,only to almost fall over a couple, chap with bare bottom :-[ They obviously were not locals as it was a main thoroughfare of the small type and they thought they had found a secluded spot under an oak! The oak is now known as "bare bottom oak" ;D
