On duty and bored , so I wrote this little ditty Twas the night before Christmas He peeped round the door Then stealthily creeping Came in Labrador With eyes ever widening At sight of the tree But twas what was beneath it That filled him with glee His people were sleeping So they wouldnt guess Who`d opened the presents And made such a mess So, on with the task And without any fear First tearing then ripping But what did he hear ? A noise from the chimney Stopped him in his tracks A leg , then a body All laden with sacks And what are you up to ? The mighty voice boomed My goodness, its Santa In my living room ! Dont worry said Santa I`m not going to say , I`ll replace the gifts then I`ll be on my way So all was restored In the Labradors home But nobody knew Who had left the big bone xxx
Re: Just a bit on nonsense Heehee, that's excellent ;D And it reminds me that I need to buy a present for Obi and also a present from Obi for hubby...!
Re: Just a bit on nonsense Obi must not buy presents. He'll put all the other Labradors to shame! Love the poem, Kate. Clare
Re: Just a bit on nonsense ;D Love the poem Kate but stealthily creeping doesn't seem to describe a Labrador.
