Thanks all. It's going to be a long slow recovery. If you think you may have pneumonia don't maess about. Get help immediately before it gets a hold. And it gets hold REALLY quickly.

Lady right back to normal - bless. Usual unladylike sleeping position on her back last night. ;D

Glad you are all home together. I bet lady is so happy and content having her 'mum' home. Take it easy and don't overdo it. Best wishes for a speedy recovery :)

    Hi Helen,

She's still pretty week and breathless to be honest, but better than when she first came home so must be going in the right direction. The final course of antibiotics ends tomorrow. Hopefully all ok just a case of all the stuffing knocked out. Thank you.

Merry Christmas David, Rosemary and Lady. How is Rosemary doing?, I really hope you all manage to have a good Christmas and that Rosemary is truly on the mend and feeling more like her self, she deserves it after what she's been through. Thinking of you all. Please take care of each other. Helen xx

Hi Helen. A belated happy Christmas and happy New Year to you too. Been off-line since Christmas - too much going on and having a few days off so just doing a catch-up. Sorry not to have replied but just spotted your post. Rosemary much better, thank you. Christmas lunch done by the kids although I cooked the turkey and the sprouts! It's going to be ages before Rosemary is fully fit but we've been for a few short walks and even managed a little outing on the South Downs then a pub lunch at the Royal Oak in Poynings, followed by getting blown away on the seafront at Hove.

Thank you for your kind message and hope you had a really good Christmas too.

Glad you all had a good Christmas and rosemary is doing well.

I noticed lady is a bit under the weather now. Hope she s back to normal soon.

Poor David the women in your life sure know how to keep you on your toes (but that's how it should be) ;)

Make sure you take care of yourself they need you in tip top condition.

All the best for the new year to all of you

Happy New Year to David, Rosemary and Lady. I am glad to hear that Rosemary is recovering, these things take time but great that she is able to do short walks :). Great that your children did the cooking and that you were in charge of the sprouts, a very important job as far as I am concerned, I love them :D

We had a lovely Christmas thank you, but all back to normal now :)

Take care all of you and I wish Rosemary a speedy recovery. xx

Hi David! So glad Rosemary is getting better with each day :). What an awful time for you and your family before Christmas. Hope you're keeping strong on all of this.

With Dexter being our first dog, its all been one big learning curve. But they definitely sense things. At the beginning of December there was a sudden passing in the family and each time Dexter saw my fiancé, he'd just lick his face and cuddle up to him. I was the human pin cushion then ;-)
