What about Amy? She will be one in January too. She is weighing 25Kgs at 10 months! Glad that I asked now!

    Hi Angela

I'm probably a bit late and you've decided on a food but just incase.

Dexters bowels sound similar to my old lab murphy's. He was never what you might call 'firm' and he was very prone to upset tummies which could be set off by giving Him human meat. Sorry that sounds very wrong! I mean things like chicken, ham, beef.

He improved immensely when I stopped giving him meat and changed his kibble from eukanuba chicken to royal canin sensitivity control which used white fish (the recipe has now altered to duck though). He did seem to go off that so on the advice of my lovely vet (who left :() I tried fish 4 dogs. He loved it. I think it was cod and potatoe and he'd always been a fussy eater. His bowels were so much better.

So I would recommend anything with white fish. Dogs like it because it's smelly. Salmon was too rich for Murphy.

Scott and scout started on lamb and rice puppy and are now on salmon and rice adult CSJ. They have very good bowels although scouts are firmer than Scott's for some reason. Problems only arise because of the disgusting things they find to eat.

    What a conversation sorry ;)

    Jen

Ps. What is my beau? Also probiotic/prebiotic supplement worked really well for Murphy .
