Just thought I would give u all an update - I have been into hospital today to have the nerves cauterised in my neck. I got home an hour ago. When I came in Harley got excited with hubby as usual, came over to me, licked my hand then walked away. 10 mins later came on the sofa with me, snuggled up and fell asleep (she is still here atm!). I am in lots of pain unfortunately, but am soooooo proud of Harley. My daughter and hubby say 'go gently' when she comes near me, and she has every time. I hope this continues
Re: Harley and me! Thats so sweet I am convinced that our dogs ( even as pups ) know when something is amiss , Sam was the same when my husband came out of hospital following a recent operation , sensitive souls that they are , hoping you are better soon
Re: Harley and me! That is so sweet of Harley. Hope you feel a little bit better tomorrow. And that you are being spoiled (and not laughing too much at funny pictures *note to self re picture posting*) xx
Re: Harley and me! Hope you are ok Naya and heal quickly. I know I know nothing about dogs but ive had a few bad days this last week or 2 and Jax has honestly been amazing with me, I swear he could sense it somehow. And because of that I do think that your Harley knows and will continue to be gentle towards you x
Re: Harley and me! Thank you for all your kind posts. I had a restless night, but again Harley was brilliant. Hubby got up with Harley this morning so I could lie in. When I came down she gave me a lick and has stayed away from me since I'm hoping she will cuddle up later
Re: Harley and me! Hope you feel better soon Naya. It's amazing how dogs know. My old lab Murphy was very good at things like that from being a little pup if he went into my nans (she lived in the barn where me and OH live now) he would sit nicely by her leg. He never jumped up or got over excited with her even when he was going through the jump up at everybody phase. Cuddle your pup and you'll be right as rain in no time.
Re: Harley and me! Hope you are feeling better soon. I am sure cuddles from Harley will help the recovery immensely!
