Hello everyone! I have just welcomed a gorgeous black lab pup into our home - which consists of me & my husband, 3 children, 1 currently confused and somewhat unimpressed cat, fish, stick insects and now one 8 week old chunky chappie who is called Digby (our first dog as a family). I love the site and have found it very helpful. Today is only day 5 and he has been amazing. So supremely confident and full of life, his tale has never stopped wagging. He has settled well at night and has not cried AT ALL - not even the first night. He has eaten great, played nicely and as yet has not had any kind of upset tummy. He immediately went into his crate to sleep and seems to love his "den". He is not fazed by anything and even fell asleep on the vets table straight after having his first jabs. Such a dream start - the whole family loves him to bits.....well, maybe with one exception....meeoowww!! ;D
