    Just brought the Turkey back from Sainsbury's. Small Black Dog failed at Christmas rule no. 2! Caught her just in time as her nose was entering the bag. SBD now guarding the fridge. ;D

    How nice of you to purchase a whole turkey just for Lady. How does she like it done? A sage, prune and apple stuffing? Perhaps a little red currant glaze added in the last few minutes of cooking?

    ... and Lady is such an accommodating dinner guest, as she doesn't expect you to go to the trouble of setting a place at the table. ;)

    As for the fridge guarding, she obviously has a second career opening up in Close Protection once the shooting season is over.

    Large duck in bottom of the fridge here, at labrador nose height when the door is open. Everytime I get the milk out, there is a brown streak across the kitchen - just in case I'm not quick enough...
