What do people think of it?

    Chicken ingredients:
Chicken (17%), Wheat, Maize, Dehydrated poultry protein, Wheat gluten meal, Animal fat, Dried beet pulp, Rice (4%), Digest, Minerals, Maize grits, Propylene glycol, Dried egg, Fish oil, Malt flour.

    Salmon ingredients:

The only reason for asking is that barley has been chosen to participate in their campaign, the first week of january we get sent out a box of food. i have to write reviews about what flavour barley likes and any changes in him. the ni have to share my experience with it with as many people as possible, everytime i talk to someone about pro plan duo delice i have to write short report to go on the campaign blog.

Not the best of foods, but it is a months worth of expensive to buy free food for barley so i am not complaining.

I might be a bit careful Annabelle,
If you don't think its as good as your current food for Barley, then are you doing the right thing giving it to him?
I don't know a lot about dog foods, but dehydrated poultry protein, animal fat, wheat gluten meal.......
    Doesn't sound most appetising.

Its important that you look at this with an inquiring mind. Are you trying it because you think it could benefit you, puzzle or someone else in the longer term?
Or have you been swayed by "fringe benefits" - free samples, financial gain, publicity?
What is your motivation for taking part in this campaign?
Why are they asking you, what do they need from you?

Lots of questions, and I would think carefully about doing this if you are at all uncertain. If you take part in this make sure you are doing it for the right reasons. I have a lot of contact with drug representatives - they have a job to do recruiting new users, but unless you do this for NO gain, either financial or material gain, then can you give a reliable independent opinion? Drug reps can be sneaky....I'm suspicious ;)
Don't be swayed. Its a tricky area. Only do it if you feel its the right thing to do

(I feel like I am lecturing - oops!)

To participate in this i had to fill out a questionnaire, i filled it out early december and never thought that we would be picked as one of the candidates.

I entered because i think that it will do barley some good, it is good for sensitive stomachs barley can easily get an upset stomach, and he does prefer softer food so a mix of softer and harder food would be good for him.

He has been on original pro plan before and we were happy with him being on that and he liked it, so that is just a spin off of that.

It is ok to be suspicious, you have to be at times :)

I do - part of my job sadly ;D

Sounds like you are trying it for the right reasons Annabelle. I know you are very sensible - more so than many adults ;)
Barley is really lucky to have you on his team. x

Barley is loving the pro plan, he cant wait to get his head in the bowl. i think i might have finally found a food that he likes to eat without any toppings on it. :)
