Poppy is unwell today she was in a right mess this morning when I woke her up, bad tummy and sickness she hasn't eaten all day I will cook her some rice and scrambled eggs for her later, but I am concerned about her not drinking much and I don't want her to get dehydrated any tips of how to get her to drink please.

So many upset tummies! So sorry to hear this.

You could try: a) ice cubes and b) bits of carrot and stuff that floats in the water bowl (and ice cubes in the water bowl c) very, very slightly flavoured water frozen in a kong.

When you cook her rice , dont drain all the water off in the final rinse, leave the rice really wet, this will help a lot, poor love I hope she is better soon x

Sorry Poppy is poorly. You could try putting bits of carrot, apple treats etc in her water bowl if she likes that, might just encourage her to drink a little whilst trying to get the treat. I hope she will be OK Lois. xx

I'd let her sleep and then feed her when she wakes :)

A bit of chicken stock added to water can help entice a dog to drink.

Hope she is feeling better soon, poor little girl.

Poor Poppy - sorry to hear this. Hope she picks up - keep an eye on her and make sure she is still pee-ing.
Lilly is not a good drinker but she loves to drink running water, including squirting it out of a "sports bottle". May be worth a go too?
Hope she settles soon poor lamb.
