Well we are on stage 1 ie delicous treats accompanied by the new call sound. In my case 4 pips on the whistle. I think there has been an unforeseen side effect after the first session, though. Lady is now following me attentively all over the house and looking intently into my eyes! Aaargh! ;D

    I sympathise David.
Lilly, likewise, won't leave my side if she either hears the rattly noise of me picking up her whistle or the sound of me in the kitchen fiddling with either treats or food or .....anything really!
Think I might have to skip exercise 1 and try and get a bit of separation, but really this is only us at the first of the proper training after the pre-recall. Mostly concentrating on doing this Sat to Mon which is when I am "home" all day. Decided the whistle round neck and treats in pockets is a 24hr a day job to stp her cheating ::)

I must be really in trouble. I've got the paperback copy AND downloaded the Kindle edition.

Well, as I understand it, the paperback version is for you, while the Kindle edition is for Lady, right? ;)

That made me really laugh Karen ;D ;D ;D ;D
I resisted the temptation of the e-version! Easier to skim back and forward in the flesh (than on my e-reader anyway!!)

Not just Charlie then, he tries to ignore me and gazes out of the window into the garden or turns away but looks over his shoulder to see if I am heading for the chicken and whistle! - they are all clever dogs!! ;)
