Oh dear, poor little girl... My Poppy sends lots of tail wags to her namesake :)

Oh gosh, my heart goes out to you all. Poppy looks so much like my little Merla. At nearly 8 months, we're still waiting for Merla to have her first season, and then we'll have her spayed I think. It seems it's fraught with angst for all either way- my husband's setter wasn't spayed young as the breeder (bizarrely) said she shouldn't be to maintain her coat condition (!) and then we ended up rushing her into surgery in later years with pyometria. Don't want Merla to go through that, but not looking forward to the op either.

Genius idea with the chicken water though- top tip! And thanks so much for telling the story.

Oh she is so cute and that poor sad face :( The photo's are great and thanks also for the story (bit shocked at the length of the scar ) but it will help to know what to expect when Willow goes for hers. Keep the photo's coming, she is gorgeous!
