Thought i would just tell you about how Otis is doing at nine months. He is just gorgeous. A real chewer he likes to retreive things from the kitchen absolutely anything, cheese grater wooden spoons tea strainer etc and take them to his special place, he does give them upeasily though. The only thing he dosent really gobble up, is banana skin, he loves apple cores banana carrot, egg shells. I take him for one walk a day about 45 mins, right for his age, but he is a sleepy thing, he has adapted to my quiet life, and sleeps a lot. He is dark choclate with very long legs and a slim body and shiny coat, he loves his arden grange kibble. On his walk he tends to sniff around a lot, hunting, but he does love to play with the other dogs in the park. He comes when called,to, treat Oaty ! He loves going to the wide sandy beach at west wittering, for a real run around, and has paddled but hasnt swum yet. He is a little softy, he plays gently and the bite inhibition taught as a young pup, has paid off. He grumbly growls, if he is disturbed sometimes when sleeping. He greets everyone with enthusiasm tail wagging and licks. He loves the downs too, and think he sniffs after rabbits up there. He has taken to joining me on my bed at night, I sleep alone, and its lovely to wake up and find that he has come upstairs and is sleeping next to me. He is a quiet dog, but loves to play, especialy tuggy with his snake, or the broom if he got the chance. Like a lot of labs he is a counter surfer, and has had a few jackpots, cheese sandwiches, cornish pasties, etc. I think nine months is a lovely age, and am really enjoying him, gone are the bitey puppy days, and sharp little teeth ! I feel more confident with him, we know and love one another very very much , Maggiexxx
Re: Otis update. He sounds absolutely perfect to me - and you both sound like a perfect match! Thanks for the delightful update.
Re: Otis update. Ah he sounds wonderful! I haven't taken Riley to West Wittering yet, we ten to head more towards the New Forest for longer days out but we have the western part of the downs by us so we do get some lovely views although I'd love to take him to Kingly Vale. These chocolate boys seem to be very good looking and glamorous, have you got any recent pictures?
