I had a scare this afternoon, I was giving myself my medication, and dropped a tablet on the floor which Otis hooverd up. So note to self, be more careful when doing this, make sure Otis isnt underneath. I called the vet, and its okay, it wont poison him, and no lasting effects, phew! I asked about making him sick, and I think it was soda crystals ?? They mentioned, might try and get some, for emergencies. Im glad Im changing my vet to the one around the corner too, for emergencies. They said he might be a little anxious as a side effect, but he is fine, just been for a walk, and dinner, and now he is asleep. Thanks, Maggie x

Oh heavens , I bet your heart was in your mouth , so pleased that all is well . Both Paul and I have to take some pretty strong medications and also been close to your experience too , now I pop them out of the packets over the sink . There is a two second rule in this house ;)

I'm really glad Otis is ok. I take strong medication several times a day and am always worried about accidentally dropping one on the floor so I can sympathise with you. Big hugs to you both :)
