Well he won't eat his kibble anymore, at first we thought it might be his gums so we soaked his food in gravy, but today he has had a chew bar and some jerky so his teeth must be ok!! Bits of sausage he'll scoff, hasn't drunk as much as usual either!!

Not sure wether to try him on wet food!!

Might be worth persisting for a few days. He will eat if he's hungry. Don't give him any other food/treats as he will hold out for that instead :)

He might be ill, one of the first signs is a dog going off his food. Unless of course the dog is over fed and bursting with food!

How old is Harry? How long has been eating the kibble for with no problems?

If he isn't eating his kibble he won't need so much water so will feel less thirsty

if he seems otherwise fine, then he's probably just "exercising his right to an opinion," as another article on this website says!!!

long as he's getting some water, when he's hungry enough, he'll scarf down his usual kibble right smartly, i wager.

    :)

    keep us posted!

My dog went off his food recently, acted fine, was lively etc, but after not eating three meals I took him to the vet and he did have a temperature and needed antibiotics.
