Just before Christmas Holly discovered the stairs. During the night she'd come upstairs to check whether we were asleep, put her front paws on the bed and stick her nose under the covers to find flesh. We'd push her off and said "NO" very firmly, and she'd trot back downstairs to her basket. An hour or two later she'd be back again. We were beginning to despair about ever getting a good night's sleep. The last few nights she's changed her habits. She'll come upstairs with us when we go to bed and lie at the foot of the bed. When we turn off the lights she'll go downstairs to her basket. She'll ignore us during the night, but as soon as she hears the alarm she'll run upstairs to greet us. We now get a good nights sleep and she gets a good welcome. Everyone's a winner I'm amazed at how quickly she's modified her behaviour.
