Well, I must say, getting to meet a fellow forum member has to be an additional point in its favour.
Have been to several caves over the years with the kids and usually spectacular.
Llechwedd Slate caves in Wales, Cruachan the Hollow mountain on Loch Awe, Jameos del Agua on Lanzarote......
Definitely missing out not having been to Cheddar methinks.
I particularly like interactive stuff and demonstrations :)

I think a family trip to these caves is on the agenda for the summer holidays, sounds fascinating :)

Wow I would go in a flash!! Is that seriously where Cheddar cheese came from first?? Another thing I did not know!!

Sigh. Something ELSE to add to the burgeoning list of Things To Do/See in England/Scotland/Ireland/Wales If I Ever Get To Go Back......

We should start up a holiday house swapping section then all you need to do is pay for travel and you must look after the household dog(s) too. Ah but nobody would want my house because they would have to look after Charlie  Oh well a good idea for everyone else ;D

Yes Cheddar Cheese actually comes from Cheddar lol

Cheddar gorge is lovely and has some lovely walks. Though I did get lost once....

Seems silly I've not been there that often seeing as how it's right on my doorstep

Come on over Lisa, make sure you let me know when you're coming and we could meet in the cave! ;) Mind you, you come from a beautiful place, had some wonderful skiing holidays in Whistler when my son worked there during the Olympics.

Anyone want to come to Canberra and look after 17 ducks? They don't need walking....

Want to? Oh yes! Free from work and other duties? Sadly not...

But what a lovely dream...cuddling Obi, and Harri...in the sun...nice thought to go to bed with on (a windy, rainy, cold night).
