I have 2 corn nibblers....cuillin has always done it, its her I love you thing...when I come home from work she corn nibbles me, when she snuggles in on the sofa for a cuddle she will corn nibble me as she cuddles in....does it to my best pal too who she knows really well and really likes...now Brods has started too! They do it to each other when they are sleepy and its cute then but its flippin painfull when they do it to me but I feel guilty stopping them as I know its their affection thing. ::) I do tho!...anyone elses dogs do,, or have funny wee ways of showing affection?

Haha, that's funny. Kind of like monkeys grooming other monkeys.

Obi doesn't do it. The ducklings do, but I think they're just seeing if I'm edible.

Caddie does it too, but she is incredibly gentle and I don't mind. ;D

Charlie is a big nibbler - of ears, hands, feet, arms, legs, button, belts...and he is still incredibly mouthy too - but he is so, so, gentle, never hurts anyone. I've sort of got it on my things to do list to stop...but...I don't really care.

He also puts my hand in his mouth and plays a tiny, gentle game of tug with my fingers (my fingers are behind his canine teeth) and does it without hurting my hand. I really should stop this, I think, other people might find it alarming. Although, no one has so far.

I thought this was going to be vegetable related....

    But no, feet.

    I hate feet.

Particularly the thought of a dog chewing on dead crusty skin!

    Ah I think that's sweet ;D

Riley still likes to sit on my lap but that's about it. He's a bit heavy but I love my cuddles.

It is vegetable related rather than feet related! We mean nibble like a dog nibbling corn on the cob along your arm.

Maybe this is just a woman thing as praise is only coming from one gender at the moment!

Off to ask Mrs GreenBulls opinion...

Having a good laugh at the alternative interpretation of corn nibbling ;D Yeah, that would be gross, but the human corn cob version is kinda cute :)

Ha ha ;D. Laughing at the alternative Foot Corn Nibbling too....for clarification, its when they are nibbling along one of your body parts like they were eating corn on the cob....Brodick does my arm, thats fine...Cuillin does arms, and also earlobes. Right round them.......earlobes are less fine... :). It really is cute, but I am going to have to teach her to do it gently, she knows 'gentle'....

No, but Chip sucks my fingers like a child. If he's wanting my attention he'll do it when we're out & about too. Too cute :)

Charlie "kisses" too - does a little jump to push his nose gently against my face.

Rather jealous of the "only to me" comments though - Charlie spent most of his breaks on the treadmill yesterday, "kissing" his hydrotherapist and nibbling her ears (and her knee pads, zips, and hair). No loyalty, that's his problem. And I didn't get a look in when Angela visited!

    LOL
I had to read this a couple of times to establish it wasn't the hard skin foot corns too :p
    Lilly is not a nibbler.
OH would LOVE her to practice a bit of a chiropody on his feet (his old dog ALWAYS licked bare feet, saltier the better) but it just isn't for our girl :D
