Antlers/hard chews for dogs

    Just thought I'd post that the University of Pennsylvania have just started a research project on chew hardness and what is acceptable and safe for dogs. It'll probably take a couple of years to report, but watch this space!

    Might be too late for us by then as Max loves his antlers and we would have gone through a few more by then!

    DivaDog has shown absolutely no interest in the antler I bought her .... being a Diva she probably expects her pet human little me to chew it soft for her first

    Mine showed absolutely no interest either and they sat in their dog box for months. In the end I soaked them as advised and all that did was to make bloody water and then it leaked out on the carpet. So it is a 'no' from me.

    Holly loves antlers. She carries them around with her and usually settles down for a chew after her evening walk.
