Small Black Dog decides she's going to leap into the flood water in the field. It's almost universally one foot deep at it's deepest except...... .....where she chose to leap in where it was MUCH deeper. She disappeared completely then "emerged" from the depths like the black beast from the deep and hooned off across the flood to dry land and then looked back, tongue hanging out, front legs splayed, tail going 90-to-the-dozen, and with (I kid you not) a huge grin on her face. Wonderful! ;D On the down side the fields are filling up again so I expect we will be surrounded again by morning. Doh!
Re: Something to cheer us all up. Trust our dear dogs to cheer us up , and always when is needed most , keep dry David and yes, they do grin
Re: Something to cheer us all up. Aw bless you Lady that did make me giggle. Charlie takes every opportunity to go into the river but not at the moment as it's over flowing and running at some speed so he just gets to splash about in the flooded fields, Hattie on the other hand avoids water at all costs : I hope you manage to stay drive David, please take care we don't want you disappearing into any deep puddles xxx
Re: Something to cheer us all up. You kind of see "puddles" differently with a labrador, don't you Can just picture Lady Keeping my fingers crossed the flood waters stay out your garden and house
Re: Something to cheer us all up. Sounded fun. At least some are enjoying the floods. I have a video of Holly running through the water with a gormless face on her. Would show but dont know how to download it. If anyone can help me with that...
