Oh this is really my fault, and sorry to moan, Im sure Ive bored you all silly with Oatsys toilet training. He is coming up to eleven months now. But I think I thought Id almost cracked it, so he is only crated at night. Going to do a bit of crate training tomorrow, then back in he goes. His accidents have increased, he just did a poo on the floor first one in a couple of weeks, and three wees indoors today, sigh ! I heard of one lab who didnt get trained till eighteen months. Its all my fault, not his of course , and I feel guilty for letting it alll slip. Must get him to use the bell on the door too, not quite sure how thats going to work, as have to put his lead on to go out, still will try, sorry to bore you all, its back to basics on this one. Maggie x
Re: back to basics That is frustrating.... I would definitely be going back to the crate during the day when you can't watch him. Had he eaten anything that might have upset his tummy? Stay strong and stick at it
Re: back to basics Ah Maggie.....you've had success with the crate and changing a few things so this is only a setback ...don't get too down about it ,put it behind you and look forward again...you will crack it x
Re: back to basics I'm sure you will crack it everyone has an off day, maybe this is Oatsys 'off day'. Hang in there
