I have determined by scientific experiment that if left with a limitless supply of food a Labrador would just explode. ;D Christmas day she could not believe her eyes or nose and with a houseful of guests she ended up stuffed but still looking for more! Huge poohs this morning! (or is that too much information?)
Re: Labrador Capacity Bless her! Previous evidence-based research suggests the same hold for humans :-[ Hope you all had a good time. Jacqui and Lilly
Re: Labrador Capacity Hahaha Sam has over indulged too, mainly due to Grandchildren passing him bits of turkey and ( shock horror ) stuffing and sprouts under the table : :
Re: Labrador Capacity Sprouts? Stolen face paints make for a very colourful tummy ache . Is there anything a lab won't at least try? I have found that the trick with sprouts is to start young! I think I have the only dogs that beg for sprouts, preferably raw; Hebe has trained the green grocer and waits patiently for her sprout, carrot, mushroom... Anything as long as it's not Savoy cabbage - now that can clear the house, thinking about it that might just be the perfect way to encourage guests to depart ;D I hope you all had a happy Christmas.
Re: Labrador Capacity Hattie and Charlie in hot pursuit of the children with their twiglets!!! yukkkyyy. Helen xx ;D
Re: Labrador Capacity Oh! Whatever happened to the worcester sauce twiglets? - I could eat a whole box of them!! Haven't seen them around for a few years. I had a dog glued to my leg in the kitchen this afternoon whilst stripping down the turkey. My aim at the plate wasn't too good Jacqui
Re: Labrador Capacity Thanks Helen. Not so many Waitrose in Scotland - nearest one is around 40miles away. Can get the original in most places, but they used to do them in a worcester sauce variety - just googled them and I can't find them - think they were a "limited edition". Probably just as well, as I suspect my self-control would have been labrador-like LOL. Jacqui. (off to evict Lilly off my bed - sleep time!)
