Lovely day here so I took Amy out for a longer walk. Right at the end of the field she flushed her first pheasant. She was off like a shot after it. Of course in the direction of the road! The tree it found was just on our side of the bush edges so she did stop. She came straight back after it was in the tree so lots of Turkey treats an over excited me and a another game of fetch! All the way home after that she was hunting and has remembered how fun it is to chase! :'( :-[ 8)

I've decided that the safest birds to proof "no chase" with are seagulls on the beach. I can use a long line on a beach. Much safer than trying on the Wimbledon swans!
Re: The red mist... Always something to do with them, thought we where ok in that field to relax! She must be tired after her long walk, just made a sandwich and she didnt even move out of her bed!
