Scout seems to be making really good progress in potty training. He still has accidents in the house but he has gone to and scratched at the door quite a few times now and I have promptly opened the door and let him out. Each time he goes to the door and goes outside he potty's right away! As I said, he does still have accidents in the house and sometimes makes no effort to go to the door but the fact that he does scratch at the door sometimes shows that at least he is learning 1) that he is supposed to potty outside and 2) how to ask to go out. He is also doing very well in the puppy training class. He picks up on commands quickly (except for the down command, still working on that one) and is proving to be a very smart lab, even though he has brown fur. :
Re: Potty training progress That's wonderful to hear! What a good boy. Sounds like you are lucky enough to have a clever boy who pays attention and really wants to do as you ask. Brilliant!
