just some advice please, dont want to run straight to the vets, jaspers eyes are a bit weepy, it is a green colour so i am thinking it might be an infection, how do i treat this ? i have just been wiping them with moist tissue
Re: weeping eyes Just clean them with a bit of warm water and tissue or cotton wool twice or three times a day as needed. If it goes for about 4 days you probably want to go to the vet.
Re: weeping eyes To clean gunky eyes, I use boiled water that has been left to cool, and use two little bowls - one for each eye - to make sure I don't transfer any muck from one to the other. I would be wary of using tissue, just because they can disintegrate really quickly. I usually use a cotton wool pad, one wipe and then chuck it away... Have only really had problems in the past with sand irritation after a windy day a the beach, and that has cleared up very quickly. Clare
