Hi everyone, Does anyone give organic probiotic yogurt to their furry friends? Only reason I ask is that poor old meg is getting very windy these days and boy are they silent killers. Bless her it doesn't seem to bother her Done a bit of research and found that yogurt can help calm digestive system, but me being me was wondering if its ok to give it to meg because of her age. Re: Organic probiotic yogurt I think it will be fine , my two have this a couple of times a week , mainly because Lab Sam is a demon for eating things he finds ( think dead things ) and Millie because she likes it
Re: Organic probiotic yogurt I add a couple of desert spoons of it to a bowl of food , good luck , even if it doesnt do any good, it wont hurt and they do seem to love it
Re: Organic probiotic yogurt I give it to Harley a few times a week as she has a sensitive belly. It seems to help with her stools and wind :
Re: Organic probiotic yogurt Thanks everyone, A quick update. Started Meg on yogurt last week and what an improvement. We still have a few little incidents but not the kind where you need to wear oxygen mask Her poo is also a lot firmer. So thanks for advice, am glad I started her on it. She has a couple of spoonfuls every other day. Jen
Re: Organic probiotic yogurt a suggestion - it might be more cost effective to get a good probiotic powder from the health shop and stir a spoonful into food then you're not paying for organic yoghurt /packaging etc and it keeps for months.
Re: Organic probiotic yogurt Thanks Carole. Funnily enough, we meet a nice lady and her dog down the park and she suggested the same thing a few days ago as her dog Sam has it. Got some yesterday and Meg doesn't seem to know it's on her food.
