Lady has developed a really bad limp in her left front leg today. Just hoping it's not the ED rearing it's ugly head again. Just given her a dose of Metacam after a very short wander out this evening. Hoping it's just a strain from jumping out of the car all wrong yesterday. :'( She actually seemed ok this morning, but then did a whole heap of butt tucking around the garden after I'd washed her down following a deep and satisfying skid/roll in a well dead perch that was on the river bank. The smell was truly awful! So it could have been excessive butt tucking I suppose.

Re: Girl Down Thankfully she is much improved today so it must just have been a strain I think. I've given her another (half) dose of Metacam this morning just to make sure. I'll keep her quiet for the next few days as well. I think I'm just a bit hyper-sensitive about the whole business after her ED experiences and operation.,

Re: Girl Down Fingers crossed it's nothing worse than a strain, David. But take care, even so, and make sure she rests her foot. As you know we had the fallout from a strain for four weeks...
